As
Design Principal at EOP, Rick’s responsibilities lie primarily in
developing innovative solutions that embody the aspirations of the facility
yet respect programmatic, budgetary, and schedule requirements. Rick is
steadfast in his commitment to engage the client in the design process,
incorporating their intimate knowledge of internal systems in developing
the most appropriate solution.
Prior to co-founding EOP, Rick held positions with firms in Chicago and
Kentucky, serving as Director of Architecture for a large multi-discipline
A/E firm from 1979-1981. Throughout his career, Rick has been involved
with the planning, design and construction of a variety of project types,
including hospitality, retail, education, office, and healthcare facilities.
He has been Design Principal on numerous projects for federal, state and
local governments, as well as local and national corporations.
Rick Ekhoff is a 1974 graduate of the University of Kentucky and the International
School of Art & Architecture in Venice, Italy – Foreign Studies
Program.
