EOP was selected to provide design services for the new Country Music Highway Museum & Theater, located in Paintsville, Kentucky. The facility pays tribute to a large number of Bluegrass and Country Music artists that have emerged from various communities along Highway 23, including Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle, Billy Ray Cyrus, Ricky Skaggs, Naomi Judd, Wynona Judd, Hylo Brown, Dwight Yoakam, Patty Loveless, Gary Stewart, Tom T. Hall, and Keith Whitley. Highway 23 is also known as the Country Music Highway.

The facility features a 102-seat auditorium, exhibit space for the artists’ memorabilia, a Hall of Stars, and a gift shop, as well as outdoor spaces for impromptu jam sessions. Outdoor features include generous terraces overlooking the Country Music Highway. This facility was completed in the spring of 2005.
