| The project includes the total interior and exterior renovation of a Carnegie Library, originally constructed in 1905, and addition of a new upper level classroom wing. The building will be used for classroom, laboratory and faculty office space. Significant interior reconfiguration, including major structural modifications, were required to accommodate the new use. All interior finishes were restored or replaced. All new mechanical, electrical, communications, and fire safety systems were installed. A 70-well high efficiency geothermal exchange system is used for heating and cooling. Exterior work included window replacement, masonry restoration and reconstruction of the original slate shingle roof system.
