EOP conducted a full feasibility study to assist KSU with a decision to renovate their existing Young Hall dormitory or construct a new residence hall. The survey summarized that the loss of student beds in the renovation was not acceptable and additional beds were needed resulting in new construction.

As a result of the feasibility study, EOP has provided a design for a new residence hall facility. This residence hall will house approximately 140 students and will be 5 stories and around 47,300 s.f.. The hall includes white box/vending space, classroom space, multi-purpose room, waiting area and 2 bedroom shared bath suites similar to other new residential facilities.

EOP and consultants provided master planning for a future bridge with circulation towers to cross over the highway connecting North Campus to South Campus. Master planning assisted with the location of the new residence hall facility adjacent to future pedestrian connections. The plan also gave a courtyard scheme for future residence halls in relation to the new facility.
